Application for IU Graduate School/School of HPER Research Fellowship

Please Note: Deadline is April 1, 2009, at 4 p.m.

This is for Applied Health Science Ph.D. students only.

If you received a fellowship last year, you must re-apply for this year. There is no automatic renewal. You must be in residence on the Bloomington campus the year the award is received. Chancellor's Fellowship Scholars or Chancellor's Minority Scholars are not eligible.

Criteria for Doctoral Students Enrolled in Third Year

1. GPA in the doctoral program is 3.6 higher.
2. Master's degree awarded.
3. Student admitted to candidacy.
4. Students are expected to have been involved in research activities as evidenced by research articles submitted, abstracts submitted, presentations at professional conferences (on and off campus), grant(s) applied for, grant(s) received, etc. Applicant must provide evidence of a minimum of two research contributions.
5. The advisor's signature is required.

1. GPA in the doctoral program is 3.6 or above.
2. Master's degree awarded.
3. Student admitted to candidacy.
4. Dissertation proposal meeting completed.
5. Students are expected to have been involved in research activities as evidenced by research articles submitted, abstracts submitted, presentations at professional conferences (on and off campus), grant(s) applied for, grant(s) received, etc. Applicant must provide evidence of a minimum of two research contributions.
6. The advisor's signature is required.
