Tuition
Tuition credit hour fees for the academic year 2006/2007 are as follows:
Undergraduate tuition for students enrolling in 12 to 17 credit hours is $3,328.44 per semester for Indiana residents, while nonresidents pay $9,834.60.
Additional fees: Distance education courses require an additional $25 per credit hour distance education technology fee. Some courses require course related fees in addition to credit hour rates. International Student Expenses: International students pay the nonresident tuition fees listed above. The IU International Center estimates the total cost for the academic year 2006-2007 for an undergraduate student is $34,506. This estimate includes tuition and fees, room and board, health insurance, and miscellaneous expenses. For more information, visit the IU International Admissions Web site.
Residency Status Rules: Physical presence at Indiana University does not guarantee resident classification. Residency status for individuals under 21 years of age is determined by the parent's residency. Individuals 21 and older who are entering Indiana from other states or countries for the purpose of pursuing their education at Indiana University will NOT be granted residency status.
