Aquatics Institute Scholarship

Scholarship History:

William Ramos received his BS in Physical Education/Teacher Preparation in 1989 and his MS in Recreational Sports Administration in 1998. Mr. Ramos is the current Director of the Aquatics Institute at the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. Mr. Ramos’ commitment to the School of HPER and, in particular, the Aquatics program, led him to establish the Aquatics Institute Scholarship to benefit undergraduate students who have chosen the Aquatic minor in the School of HPER.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Undergraduate status.
  • Minimum GPA 3.5 from Aquatic Minor core courses.
  • Student is rated as performing the best in Aquatic Practicum evaluations.
  • If no student applicant meets the requirements above, then a student applicant will be selected based on cumulative GPA at Indiana University and record of volunteer work in aquatics programs.
