Joan Weinberg Wolf Scholarship for Dietetics

Scholarship History:

Joan Weinberg Wolf graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Home Economics with a focus on dietetics in 1955. While at Indiana University, Joan met her husband, Walter Wolf, and soon after graduation, Walter joined the army and they both moved to Germany where Walter was stationed. Joan had been selected for an internship but wasn’t able to accept it as she was moving out of the country with her husband. Joan has had a lifetime interest in dietetics and the field of medicine. Due to this intense interest, on the occasion of Joan’s 70th birthday, Walter established the Joan Weinberg Wolf Scholarship in Dietetics to support deserving students studying dietetics and nutrition in the School of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation.
