Bradford Woods Outdoor Education Center
Bradford Woods is a 2,500-acre outdoor education center located in Morgan County, Indiana, approximately 40 minutes north of the IU Bloomington campus. Established in 1941, it is Indiana’s largest preserved natural area other than state and national park systems.
Recognized as an international leader in experiential learning, Bradford Woods provides educational and recreational opportunities to more than 25,000 people each year through its three centers: Camping and Retreats, Challenge Education, and Environmental Resource. Bradford Woods is administered by the Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Studies.
